So far this week seems to have been all about rain and today has seen the worst,
unrelenting rain, grey skies and not a glimmer of sunshine. I don't mind it really -
it's just the mud I hate. Deep sigh....

Hello...came to visit from "Are We There Yet"
ReplyDeleteI agree the rain can be quite calming, but the mud and water puddles are a bit messy.
treat yourself to new wellies and go and splash in a few puddles not the muddy one's though :)

Love the illo! I like it when it rains for a couple of days but not when it lasts and lasts...
ReplyDeleteHope the sun has returned your way. Tomorrow night here in Australia Horsepower is premiering, looking forward to it! :)
hiya- the best thing about mud is...WELLIES!
ReplyDeleteGreen wellies for mucking out, neoprene-lined wellies for standing about, floral wellies because someone gave them to me...and new RED wellies with a bow to cheer me up with this constant mud!
Actually its not the mud on the ground I hate, its the mud deeply embedded in Bruce's body after he's rolled- I've never known a horse who can get mud up inside his nostrils. Must be related to a hippo!
Have a good weekend
xx
I totally agree with T&B's hippo assessment, my boy is never clean these days. I loved the Martin Clunes programme last week, had tears in my eyes while the horses played on the beach. Pop over and say hello some time, the kettle is always on!
ReplyDeleteI love this illustration. Welcome to the blogging world.
